Carabiner has been designing education facilities in Western Australia for over two decades. We appreciate the importance of these facilities in shaping the lives and experiences of a broad community of users. So we don’t take our responsibility lightly. We test our designs rigorously to ensure alignment with the brief and our client’s needs. We partner with schools and other stakeholders to develop solutions that really make a difference.

We have delivered numerous education projects in Western Australia encompassing building upgrades, new buildings and the master planning and design of new school projects for public and private clients.

We know that in education design, there can be no predetermined solutions. There is no one-size-fits-all response to master planning or designing learning facilities. The only way forward is to design collaboratively, embracing the unique history, pedagogy, values and aspirations of a school community to inform the design outcome.

We design schools that are accessible and inclusive of all students, including designing integrated Education Support Centres for students with disabilities.
Schools are often the first piece of community infrastructure in a new suburb. Our school designs incorporate a strong sense of place identity, for families to form friendships and connections to strengthen the community.
