Swan Active Midland

Carabiner have been engaged as Lead Consultant to design and document the refurbishment and extension of the leisure centre, including the demolition and replacement of the existing Gym and Group Fitness facilities within a major 950m² expansion. The new Gym has been a primary impetus for the project with the aim to provide 24/7 access.

Also included in the project is a new 25m Pool, refurbished Leisure Pool (including associated plant), and complete refurbishments to the existing Sports Hall, Administration area, Foyer, Yoga Room, Crèche, and Café.

 Madora Bay Primary School

The West Australian Department of Education has commissioned several standard-pattern primary schools in the Perth metropolitan area which are to be completed for the 2023 school year.

Carabiner has been engaged by the Department of Finance (Building Management and Works), on behalf of the Department of Education, to design and facilitate the building of a new primary school located in the Madora Bay community. The school will cater for 650 students in permanent buildings and 980 students when transportables are utilized.

South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub (SHISH)

The first stage of the project includes a new pavilion (adjacent video), new sports fields, and extensive landscaping. The later stages will include an additional Stadium to house (6) new ball courts, a new aquatic centre, renovation of the existing stadium, and community use spaces throughout the overall site. The South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub will create a valuable public amenity for South Hedland and will be a new heart for the local community.
