EDUCATION

“... continually, though silently, a school building tells students who they are and how they should think about the world. It can help to manufacture rote obedience or independent activity; it can create high self-confidence or low self-esteem.”
— Alison Lurie, 20th c. novelist

The most valuable gift we can give our children is a good education. That is, one in which all the ingredients are of the highest quality. At Carabiner, we believe the physical learning environment is not only an important ingredient, but it is the one that has the most affect on all the others.

A school that is bright, open, stimulating, adaptable and welcoming is the most conducive to fostering a love of learning. It is a place where social barriers can be overcome and life-long friendships can be forged. It is somewhere that will be a pleasure to be in all through your school years, and where you will be proud to send your own children to school. It is also where educators, administrators and chaplains feel inspired to teach and to nurture young minds.

In an age where information is omnipresent,

the learning environment has spread from the classrooms to the whole campus. Buildings and landscape work together to support learning through exploration, questioning, creativity and fun.
