Intended to bring the netball community together, from grass-roots sports teams and children to elite competitors, we began our planning process with extensive consultations.

These included discussions with the Department of Sport and Recreation, Netball WA, VenuesWest, Perth Netball Association, the Town of Cambridge and the State Government. Our stakeholder engagement saw us successfully able to integrate priorities of all parties within the design.

Our design’s geometry mimics the movement and pace of a match. The facility  provides four international standard indoor courts, accompanied by injury prevention and rehabilitation settings, drug testing facilities and inclusive change room facilities. Additionally, we provided workplace accommodation, administrative office space, catering and function centres and support facilities. We satisfied a myriad of stakeholder requirements, delivering an elegant, high performance standard facility that will endure.
