We were engaged by the City of South Perth in the very early stages of the South Perth Recreation and Aquatic Facility project to assist them with identifying an ideal site. We analysed five diverse locations, developing test-fit layouts for each to help our client make an informed decision.
As we moved into the design phase of the project, we negotiated the colocation of a myriad of functionalities into one site, while ensuring the design solution was seamlessly integrated into its surrounding context.
Our concept blurred the boundaries between the new aquatics centre and the Collier Park Golf Course adjacent.
